Meet Darren White!

We know that people are the heartbeat of any company, so we had a chat with Darren White, Operations Director, to find out more about him and his work at Kinetic IT:

Key career highlights

I started my career as an electrical apprentice in 1989, and swiftly moved on to become a data engineer. I moved to London in 1997 and started a data cabling company with Stuart – our first job was working for ‘Workplace Technologies’ on nights re-cabling all the floors at News International in Wapping. This led onto many enjoyable years working with some great people and clients across London. 23 years later and I have merged that company with Kinetic IT and started a new role as Operations Director.

Outside of work

I am a qualified British Triathlon coach & England Athletics as an endurance running coach. I spend most of my spare time doing voluntary coaching for triathlon and endurance running at local clubs or for regional groups of young athletes. Any other spare time is spent with my family and three dogs.

What I’m looking forward to in my new role

I am looking forward to working within a bigger team and applying my skills to further develop the business operations in a rapidly growing company.
